eFAR is an electronic Facility Annual Return system. It automates the process of completing and submitting Facility Annual Returns.

The provision of an Annual Return by each facility licence holder allows the Ministry to monitor the capacity of forest industry facilities and forest resource utilization. This information is a vital tool to assist in the support and promotion of a healthy forest industry in Ontario.

Information collected from eFar is used for:

• State of the Forest Reports
• Softwood Lumber Negotiations
